Spectrum Vision

An independent practice on the Space Coast since 1998

Two doctors, one building, and the same people looking after your eyes visit after visit.

Spectrum Vision has looked after families on the Space Coast since 1998. It is a two-doctor practice in Indian Harbour Beach, and it is independent — a member of Vision Source, the network of independently-owned optometry practices, rather than part of a chain.

The point of a practice this size is continuity. You see the same doctors, your history stays in one chart, and the person who fitted your last pair of glasses is still at the frame board when you come back. Nothing about a visit here is designed to move you along a queue.

Care is full-scope, which means eye disease is diagnosed and treated here rather than handed off. Glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy and macular degeneration are followed in-house on measurable intervals, with surgery or a sub-specialist brought in only when it is genuinely needed. Eye pressure is checked with iCare — no air puff, no drops — and retinal health with a single-shot 200° OPTOS photo, with OCT cross-sections added when they are clinically indicated.

The other half of the practice is the optical. There is a curated frame board — Ray-Ban, Coach, Guess and more — and an optician who will tell you honestly which pair suits your face. Contact lens work includes the hard cases: astigmatism, presbyopia, dry eye and irregular corneas, including post-surgical and keratoconus fits with specialty scleral lenses.

Walk-ins are welcome for frame browsing and adjustments. Exams are by appointment, and same-day emergency eye care is available — call the office first so we can triage and get you in.

How we work

What makes this practice different

Spectrum Vision has cared for families on the Space Coast since 1998. The point of a two-doctor practice is continuity — the same people, the same records, the same standard, visit after visit.

Disease managed here, not referred out

Glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and macular degeneration are followed in-house on measurable intervals. Surgery and sub-specialist input get coordinated only when they are genuinely needed.

Imaging on site

A single-shot 200° OPTOS retinal photo, OCT cross-sections when clinically indicated, and iCare pressure testing — no air puff, no drops.

Contacts for hard-to-fit eyes

Astigmatism, presbyopia, dry eye, and irregular corneas — including post-surgical and keratoconus fits with specialty scleral lenses.

A frame board worth browsing

Ray-Ban, Coach, Guess and more on the wall, with an optician who will tell you honestly which pair suits your face.
